Kelty is a dynamic senior geologist, project coordinator, and geomodeller who thrives on teamwork and getting things done. With solid experience in heavy oil, unconventional, and conventional assets, Kelty expertly turns complex projects into smooth successes. Her ability to manage projects globally and network her way to results is unmatched, always bringing energy and enthusiasm to the table.

During her time as president of the Canadian Energy Geoscience Association, Kelty guided the organization through significant changes, leaving a lasting positive impact. She is tenacious and relentlessly positive, committed to improving her rural community of Bragg Creek through board leadership in local education, theatre, and telecommunications improvement.

As a mother of two kids, Kelty loves seeing the natural world through their eyes and strives for a better future for them. She believes that understanding energy requires an understanding of the subsurface—the ground below us—geology. The rocks are not only a source of energy but a source of stories and history, explaining how we got to where we are today and where we might go in the future. Kelty brings an understanding of the vast scope of the world’s history told by the subsurface to every project she undertakes.
