Victor del Valle

Victor was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta in treaty 7 territory. Victor has a B.Sc. and M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering and has been working in the Alberta Energy Industry in various technology development roles for the past 30 years. In that time, Victor has seen first had the powerful impact that technology can have on the energy, ecological and social systems we are a part of.

Increasingly, he has become very interested in understanding how the motivations, beliefs and values behind a company, society and individuals can shape technology development and how those changes impact the life and prosperity of the planet. Victor has become increasingly interested in exploring and cultivating the inner transformations and ways of knowing that are required to better support shared benefits and true sustainable outcomes in our use and development of technology for our energy system.
